Peperomia o peperòmia és un dels dos grans gèneres de plantes de l'ordre Piperales dins la família Piperaceae que consta de més de 1.000 espècies. Algunes s'usen com planta d'interior. La majoria de les espècies són petites epífites perennes que creixen sobre la fusta podrida. Estan distribuïdes en les regions tropicals i subtropicals del món especialment a Amèrica Central i nord d'Amèrica del Sud amb unes 17 espècies a Àfrica.

The Shirley Ann Place Historic District is located in the University Heights neighborhood of San Diego, California. The block between Madison Ave. and Monroe Ave. was designated a historic district by the City of San Diego for its 1920s Spanish Colonial Revival bungalows. The district also includes three properties similar in style and that were part of the original development: two additional bungalows on the south side of Monroe Avenue near a small local grocery store at the SE corner of Madison Ave. and Shirley Ann Pl.
